UN Biodiversity Conference: COP15 in Montréal. COP15 stands for the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). As an outcome of this conference the participating parties agreed to the Kunming-Montréal Global Biodiversity Framework “… to safeguard nature and halt and reverse biodiversity loss, putting nature on a path to recovery by 2050.” For details check out the website at UNEP.
